Downtown Disney Travel Car Services from Orlando city
The Downtown Disney District is a pedestrian, shopping, and entertainment district located between Disneyland, California Adventure Parks, and Disneyland hotels. It has a similar feel to Universal City Walk, with colorful cartoon signs and storefronts from LEGO characters outside the LEGO store and giant sax at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen to the outdoor Uva Bar in the center of the plaza that lights up like a rainbow at night.
In addition to individual businesses along the pedestrian area, there is an outdoor stage that frequently hosts free shows. Vendor carts are scattered along the road selling everything from pastries to designer electronics. During the winter, an ice rink is added for entertainment. It opens before Thanksgiving and runs well in February. Downtown Disney magical express bus service also celebrates the season of Christmas with a village of holiday kiosks that circle the ice rink with festive food and gifts.
Hotels
The Disneyland Hotel and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel are located across from the Downtown Disney pedestrian area from the theme park entry plaza. The Disney California Grand has an entrance right in the pedestrian area, and another entrance to Disney California Adventure.
Mono line
There is a Disneyland Monorail station in the Downtown Disney neighborhood. Visitors who already have tickets can enter the park via Monorail, which takes you directly to Tomorrow land. You can also get out of the park back into Downtown Disney the same way, so it can be a quick way out of the park to go back to the Disneyland hotel or grab lunch or dinner.
